Latest Fishing Reports:
May 09, 2008:
WED P.M) This evening we had a open boat striper trip and the fishing was very good. We fished Raritan Bay for non stop action for 4 hours. The blues were on as soon as we got there but then the bass took over. We had 15 big bass for 8 anglers and too many blues to count. Most of the bass were caught on heads.

Today we ran a open boat black and ling trip and the fishing was picky in the A.M . We hit drops from 40 ft to 75 ft. We had a mix of blacks ,ling ,seabass and a flounder. Phil the ringer took the pool with a 14 lb tog(picture does not justify the fish). A few anglers got their limit of keeper tog but there was also alot of action with the shorts. We also caught some nice seabass as well as some shorts and a bunch of ling. The last two drops of the day bailed us out.

Today we had a charter for Roman and his friends for a day of flounders and the fishing was terrible. We stayed inside j-bay for the day due to the hard east winds. We fished all over the bay with poor results and we were only able to scrap up 8 flounders. As soon as the winds subside and we get off of the full moon things will improve.

April 19, 2008:
saturday) Today we ran an open boat Flounder trip and fished Romer and the fishing was slow for us. Most of the fish were small males there. We made a move and had some fish right away then a very slow pick afterwards. All of the fish there were big. We did also have some small stripers that we released. The boat scraped up 15 flounders for the day and james had the pool .

Today we ran an open boat Flounder trip and fished inside j-bay. The fishing was slow , we made several drops all over the bay with one here and one there. Even with the heavy chumming it did not help. Eric was high hook with 6 and took the pool and tony had 4. We will be fishing to the west tomorrow to happy hunting grounds. The boat only managed to scrap up 17 Flounders.

Today we ran an open boat Flounder trip and the fishing was picky. We made two drops for the day and Pauly bergally was high hook with 8 keepers and 2 shorts and Chet and his brother combined for 12 keepers and every one else had a few each. The conditions were terrible as the wind was against the current. The fish bit both worms and mussels. The boat had 30 keepers and released 6 shorts for 6 customers.
(04-14-08) This afternoon Rob and i went out to try some local spots and we fished for two hours and scraped up 6 keepers. I would say another week it should be very good.
