Today we ran a open boat Fluke trip and it was very good.We had our 5 man NY limit and plenty of action all day. The AM there was no drift at all , so we power drifted and it helped us out big time. When the wind picked up later in the day , the fish were biting very well.We also had some keeper Seabass.Eric was on fire today with over 30 Fluke .The bucktailing was the ticket.Today we had all of our regulars and we had good fishing and alot of laughs.Capt.James joined us today and took the pool.

(SAT) Today we had a open boat Fluke trip and the fishing was good. We fished Ambrose Channel for steady action all day with just one or two lulls throughout the day.The problem today was no drift, so we power drifted which made the difference. We had 7 NY keepers up to 7.5 lbs for 4 anglers and countless NJ keepers. There was also some keeper Seabass as well.Phil the ringer took the pool winner today.

(sun) Today we had a open boat Seabass trip and the fishing was tough. The drift was way too fast. When we anchored the life was just not there, a few shorts and keepers. We also saw some Fluke and Flounder as well as Ling. The story today was quality over quanity.Phil was out with us again today and guess what he took the pool again with a jumbo Seabass.

Today we ran our first open boat Fluke trip and it was a tough day.We did manage some nice keepers but not enough .There was ok action with shorts  but It is hard to throw back 18-20 inch fish, it actually hurts but you can thank NYS DEC for that.We also saw a few keeper Seabass.Frenchie had the big fish of the day 8.5 lbs.

Today we had a open boat and had all of our regulars
and it was a real tough grind. We hit alot of small pieces and some had life and some were barren. It was either a big fish or nothing. There was very little short life today. We did see 6 keepers Tog that were released. Willie was high hook and pool winner with a jumbo Seabass and had 15 keepers. Everyone else had some.It was a off day.I do not know if it was the moon or the water temps are getting too warm?
